AVK Company has created a range of gift sets for different ages

The AVK Company has presented a wide range of gift sets for all different ages just before the Christmas and New Year holidays. All twelve AVK holiday gift sets – most of which are totally new products – comply with the highest consumers’ demands and retailers’ standards.

“Trying to foresee the consumers’ expectations we paid significant attention to the esthetic component of the gift sets”, say the Marketing and Sales Director of the AVK confectionary company, Vladislav Averchenko. “This year, designs of our gift sets have been elaborated based on the differences of age preferences for kids of school age and pre-school children. To achive this, the AVK hired famous children artists, whose works is most popular amongst consumers.”

The business strategy of the AVK Company is based on focusing on most promising segments of the confectionary market and cholate products in particular. Threfore, the gift sets consist mostly of chocolate sweets, rolls and chocolate bars.

“The tendency of the premium segment growth during the holidays period becomes more noticeable, especially in regard to seasonal holidays sets”, says Commercial Vice President of the Fozzy Group holding, Valery Levenstam. “Every ukrainian would like to indulgde oneself as well as the relatives during the Christmas and New Years holidays”.
The AVK Company’s estimates to account for over 80% sales (in monetary value) of the national seasonal gifts market in its mid and premium segments. This estimation is natural as due to growing wellbeing of the ukrainians, they Ґmore often tend to prefer gifts boxes of interesting shapes and modern design, as well as sets with extra value added.

Most of the holiday gift sets of the AVK Company traditionally carry added values, which increase the overall values of the gifts to the consumers. For instance, the Chocolate Palace, Chocolate Theater and Ice Queen’s Kingdom gift sets include games. The cuddly-toy-shaped backpacks can be used further as stylish accessories related to the oriental symbol of the coming year.

Another destinctive piculiarity of the AVK’ 2007/2008 gifts range is the convenient placement of the sets on the market shelves throughout the supermarkets which are the products’ primary distribution channel. At the same time, accidental fall out of the sweets from the boxes is prevented by extra sealing. The sweets inside a gift set are additionally bagged in a plastic and the box itself is sealed in a manner which prevents opening without harming the packaging consistency.
