International Dance Festival “Kyiv Waltz” will be Supported by AVK

The AVK Company has become a partner of the Fifth Open International Dance Festival “Kyiv Waltz’ 2006” that will be conducted in Kyiv from April 29 through May 2, 2006.

The festival program includes the World’s Championship, the World’s Cup under the IDU (International Dance Union) version, on the European and Latin American dances, international classification competition, the festival of the Ukrainian groups “the Dance Poetry”. The festival organizer, the Union of the Non-Government Organizations of the Sports Dance of Ukraine, will bring together 2500 participants from 25 countries of the world.

The organizers expect that the bright festival will attract not only the old supporters of the fuse rhythms but also raise new advocates of the sports, ball dances. The Union President Ihor Mashyn believes that such festivals contribute to the spread of the ideas of the creativity in the society, and demonstrate the beauty of the creative behavior.

“I believe that the success – both sports and intellectual, any kind of success – are impossible without the harmonic development of a personality”. The dance reveals all the best in a person; this is not only the body movements but also a song of the soul. A real dance advocate sticks to the healthy lifestyle, and is interested in culture, art and social life. The world will become better if the number of such individuals grows,” said Mashin.
